Employee Housing: The Requirements HR Teams Should Share
▲Contents

Separate company rules from employee preferences

For a company lease, distinguish mandatory housing rules from employee preferences. Knowing which requirements are essential and which can be adjusted makes property comparisons more useful.

Prepare the initial requirements

Share the company contact, workplace, preferred area, rent limit, move-in date, number of employees and whether family accommodation is needed. For several employees, list timing and requirements separately. You can inquire before every detail has been decided.

Decide whether employees need viewings

We can work from the requirements supplied by your company and, when needed, introduce properties and arrange viewings for employees. Agree on the contact person, how candidates will be reviewed and possible viewing dates.

Confirm application and lease conditions

Corporate lease eligibility, occupant requirements, screening documents, initial costs, lease type and move-in timing must be checked for each property. Availability and screening results are not guaranteed. Our team will explain the documents required; identity documents are not needed in the initial inquiry form.

Discuss your employee housing requirements

Tell us your preferred area, rent budget and move-in date. We explain the process from property searches to the contract, with employee viewings when needed. For housing outside Tokyo, please also share your location and requirements.
